Projects & Contracts Administrator

Laboratory Solutions has a new opportunity for a Projects & Contracts Administrator to join our client's Project Management Office with a dotted line into the legal team, who will provide guidance and training on areas relating to contracts processes and the administration of documents. 

Our client is an expanding, innovative biotechnology company based in Cambridgeshire.
This pivotal role ensures proper flow of Project Management Office procedures and provides administrative support for the preparation and processing of contracts, letters and documentation in accordance with existing templates and policies. 

You will work with colleagues to meet goals by assigned deadlines, keep up to date on all administrative aspects of a project, and assist others so complicated tasks come to completion in an orderly and timely manner.

Main Responsibilities
  • Draft (using existing templates), format, and process relevant documentation in accordance with existing policies and procedures;
  • Create and input project details in Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP (Business Accounting Software‎); make necessary adjustments if and when problems arise;
  • Work with other departments e.g. Business Development and Finance to ensure smooth processing of project and contract documentation;
  • Maintain accurate records and file appropriate documents as needed;
  • Assist with ordering and invoicing queries;
  • Creates agendas and takes meeting notes;
  • Interact with Project Managers, Platform Leads and Head of Departments;
  • Participates in educational opportunities to stay up to date on leadership techniques and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate will have one or two years experience administering and processing contractual documentation and financial data, perhaps gained either as part of a PMO team or you have worked within a project management environment and with experience of understanding client contracts.
You will need to be numerate, have excellent attention to detail and IT skills, with experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP preferred. Ideally you will also be a problem solver, very personable, approachable and able to communicate well with different stakeholders at different levels. In addition you will:

  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Of personable and approachable character.
